Dale Park 1-2 Gunness and Crosby Wasps
This was the defeat that surely ended any hope of winning the title in our first year back in the top league. Unless our remaining six games are won, it is likely we wont finish in top spot. On a rainy winter Sunday two Crosby Goals both early in each half ended our 100% home record, despite a late goal from Jack Rhodes. Crosby didn't start strong but a well timed move set up the onrushing striker only for Ash Finney to tip away an accurate shot. However Crosby in the green took the lead after a lucky shot rebounded off the post, setting up an easy tap in. Park in their changed kit of claret then turned up the pressure Lewis Clark forced a good save before Connor Durnian missed a huge chance to level the game. Jack Lacey-Hatton then forced two quality saves from the Crosby keeper in two minutes. The second half started poorly, Reeder gave the ball away immediately from kick off and, after another good Finney save, Crosby tapped in the rebound. Dale Park then through the kitchen sink at Wasps and after chances through Wingate and Clark they then got their reward when Jack Rhodes finished well for his seventh of the season. However disappointment followed as Park struggled to get out of their own half and created only half chances. The full time whistle soon followed. One bright spot was an impressive performance by debutant Tate. Something has to be done if we keep performing like this, a position inside the top four let alone the title is in doubt. It is simple win the four home games, beat Park Tigers away and get a point at Botesford, then the league title will be ours. Can we on this form? No we cant.
We have no confirmed fixture for next week as are cup tie will be played at a later date. We are planning to re-arrange a postponed league game for next week.

Dale Park V Guness Crosby Wasps
Tomorrow we play our first home match in over 3 months with Crosby Wasps the visitors to Winterton. Our last match was over a month ago against Epworth, so the players are bound to be a bit rusty, but a full squad maybe expected. Danny Tate is also set to make a debut. We last met Guness on the opening day of the season winning 6-3 with goals coming from Clark, Wingate, Lacey-Hatton, Durnian and Rhodes. The last time they visited Winterton they played under the Guness banner and were 6-0 up by half time in a amazing performance, a second half Connor Durnian hat-trick made the score a little more respectable as we went on to lose 7-3. A win for Crosby puts them level on points with Barton and eases relegation fears. As for us a win puts us back within a point of Bottesford. No changes are expected from the team that recorded a 3-3 draw with Epworth.

Not due to weather this time but Crosby need to play a postponed div.cup tie and as cup takes priority it will be another week without a game now.

Dale Park V Messingham (GAME OFF)
As expected our home game against Messingham has being called off due to a frozen pitch. Hopefully a thaw will occur this week, allowing us to train and let the game against Crosby Wasps at home go ahead next week. However if either there is no improvement in the weather or it gets worst another postponement may be likely.
